This client was also a victim of fraud. She was convinced by a family member to go into business together. The family member convinced our client to open credit cards and take out loans under the business name was which also solely in our clients name. He then proceeded to take out additional loans and more credit cards in our clients name and without the consent of our client. Upon realizing the fraudulent activities done in her name, she reviewed her account statements and was shocked that she owes approximately $300,000.00. With her assistance, bankruptcy court is now going to sue individual who fraudulently used our client’s information.
